Huawei Officially Opens Pre-Orders for the New Nova 16 SE Ahead of August 5 Launch

Following an extended three-year gap, Huawei is officially preparing to introduce the Nova 16 SE on August 5. The company has officially kicked off pre-order reservations for this upcoming budget-friendly SE smartphone, allowing eager customers to secure their units online.

Huawei recently published a promotional poster on Chinese social media to announce the pre-order phase. Alongside this announcement, the company revealed the official design of the Nova 16 SE, highlighting a distinct appearance reminiscent of the Honor Power 2.

Much like the Power 2 smartphone, Huawei's latest SE offering features a massive, wide, and horizontal camera module on the rear panel. This module houses three distinct imaging rings arranged neatly in a triangular configuration. Meanwhile, the front display adopts a single punch-hole cutout complemented by remarkably slim bezels.

The Nova 16 SE maintains the signature gradient color palette seen in higher-end Nova 16 variants. However, recent live image leaks have also pointed toward a striking color gradient shade closely resembling the Pura 90 Pro Max.

Availability, Storage, and Reservations

Regarding reservations, the Chinese tech giant has officially listed the Nova 16 SE on its VMall shopping platform. The phone is currently featured in the stunning Sakura Snow Sky color option—a vibrant gradient design showcasing a smooth fusion of deep blue, bright sky blue, and soft pink on the back cover.

Current pre-order details confirm that the listed Nova 16 SE model comes equipped with a generous 256GB of internal storage. While Huawei has yet to detail other potential colorways or storage configurations, these additional options are expected to be unveiled during the official August 5 launch event.
